Roxana Howlett - Welcome To The team!

We are very pleased to welcome our first female rider to the Enuff team, Roxana Howlett!

How old are you and where are you from?
Roxana Howlett age 7 and I live in Devon.

What age did you first start skateboarding and what inspired you to first pick up a board?
Just after my 6th birthday I had a go on my sister’s Penny board and then I started watching Aaron Kyro videos on Youtube.

Where is your favourite place to skate?
The Lodge indoor skatepark in Newton Abbot and Flowerpots Skatepark in Exeter.

What can you bring to the team?
My local skateshop sells Enuff stuff so I had heard of them.
I can bring to the team a big passion for skating, awesome tricks and inspiring more young girls in the UK to skate.

Which skateboarders did you look up to growing up? Any local legends in your local scene or professionals you aspire to be like?
I love Aaron ‘Jaws’ Homoki, Lacey Baker and Leticia Bufoni. Also locally I like Stefani Nurding and would like to be as good as her.

How many people are in your group of friends that you skate with on a regular basis and which guys are essential to getting a good session going?
I like skating with Alfie, Reuben and Luke at The Lodge every week and any locals I see down at Flowerpots, but I also really enjoy skating on my own.

What is your all-time favourite skate video and which ones are you into at this moment in time?
I haven't seen many but I like Vans European Skate Tour 2008 and Sweets.

Do you have a preference towards street skating, skate parks or vert or are you happy to experience and skate everything?
I like skating anything but I love transition and street best.

What was the last trick you learnt? What are the next three tricks on your hit list that you would love to learn?
I last learnt Frontside rock and rolls.  Next up to crack is a boardslide on my rail (which I’ve almost got!), blunt fakies and kick flips.

Are there any video parts you are working on personally which we will see in the near future or any competitions coming up that you plan to enter?
I’ve always got half a video in progress. I’ve entered a few competitions recently and will go in any more local ones that come up.  I also plan to travel down to London for The Unicorn Jam next year.

What do you think skateboarding holds for you in the future and what are your future aspirations?
Travel the world one skate park at a time…. and be as good as I can be!

Here's the edit that caught our attention and got us talking to Roxana:

Alex Griffiths - UK Vert Series 2016

This year Enuff’s young vert shredder, Alex Griffiths, stepped up to the A group of the UK Vert series.

In previous years Alex has competed in the B group but this year marked a real step in Alex’s skating and a chance to compete against some of the best vert skates in the country on a regular basis.

The season kicked off at Mount Hawke on the 29th of May and only recently finished at Creation Skate Park in Birmingham on the 16th of October.

There were 7 stops along the way with the best 5 results taken to make up the final series result.

Alex managed to attend all 7 stops and placed 9th at Mount Hawke, 4th at Southsea Skate Park, 5th at Riverside Park, 7th at Beast Rampz, 5th at Adrenaline Alley, 4th at Ramp City and 2nd at Creation skate park.

Overall we are very proud to announce a 3rd place series result came Alex’s way due to his constant consistency where others dropped points, his huge bag of tricks and a smooth style to go with it. This is a huge achievement for Alex to step up to the A group and perform so well. Enuff is proud to support and have Alex on the team.

To see more of Alex and the rest of the Enuff team visit the Enuff website and social pages for a full run down of all that’s going on.

Wow! 10 years! Where has the time gone?

We are super stoked to introduce you all to our brand new range of completes that we have released to help celebrate our 10 fun years in the skateboarding industry!

From the end of September 2016, 8 new completes will be hitting the shops, all fully loaded with our mighty Decade Trucks!

The Enuff Fade is the first in line and is a great complete for beginners to intermediate riders that want a bit of colour with minimal graphics on their set-up. The colour coded Decade trucks on the Fade's deep concave deck adds a nice finishing touch.

Enuff Fade Completes - 4 Colours

The Enuff Tag Graffiti features an awesome urban graphic by Paintshop Studio. Available in 2 colours; Yellow and Green, and mounted on our Decade trucks, the Tag Graffiti is a seriously cool beginner to intermediate board.

Enuff Tie-Dye... well what can we say?! Yes tie-dye is back, so we've covered a deep concave deck in it and mounted it on our awesome Decade Trucks, to bring you one rad looking set-up!

Enuff Tie-Dye Complete

The Enuff Nihon is a mini series of 2 seriously sweet graphic decks designed by guest artist, Bodilpunk. The detail that goes into this artist's work is amazing, so we couldn't resist working in collaboration with him. Both the Samurai and the Geisha designs are printed on deep concave decks and mounted on our Decade Trucks.

Enuff Nihon Completes - 2 Designs

The Enuff Pyro Fade completes are our anniversary adaptations of the very popular Pyro boards and come in 2 vibrant colours. Again these boards are mounted on our decade trucks and are great for intermediate riders.

The Enuff Floral completes are not really floral at all... more "leafy"...
either way, we think they look great! Available in 2 colour ways, that are not too OTT, so if you like a board that has a hint of colour but minimal graphics, then grab one of these.

The Enuff ALSO is another great collaboration with Paintshop Studio, and brings bold blocks of colours to our range. Available in 2 colour ways, and mounted on our Decade trucks the ALSO complete makes a great intermediate board.

Enuff ALSO Completes - 2 Colours

The Enuff Geometric is a medium concave board that comes in 2 colour ways, designed by guest artist, Shaun Gordon.  A great intermediate complete to finish off our anniversary collection!

"The Story of the Decade" - Enuff Decade Pro Trucks!

2016 marks Enuff’s ten year anniversary in the skate industry, a pretty big thing to still be going strong in the British skateboarding scene. We wanted to come up with something better than just a party to mark this milestone. We wanted to create something that will last another ten years and maybe even give back to you, the riders, to say thanks for all your support! Limited edition decks are nice but they’re limited; a skate jam is great for a day but then it’s gone; posters and stickers have been done before. So what to do?

Alex Griffiths
Enuff’s key strength has always been supporting skaters at grass roots level and believing in the little guy. Decks and wheels are all much a muchness but trucks, on the whole, have been relatively unchanged for what feels like forever! Whilst we aren’t reinventing the wheel, bringing you something strong and hardwearing at a reasonable price and with performance you can believe in, perhaps was a step into the unknown.

Using our years of experience in the industry, and utilising advice from our riders and more importantly you out there in the real world, it has been a real team effort designing this truck.

There has been well over a year of research and development, 3D modelling, CNC prototypes, and test samples before we have been able to bring the Decade Truck to market.

Finally after all the work which has gone in, we are proud to give you a product that performs to a high standard and looks great without breaking the bank. Most importantly the rider and shop reaction to this truck has been fantastic. With a more competitive price than any comparable truck on the market, we seriously think you should give them a try …so head down to your local shop now to pick up your set of Enuff Decade Trucks!

Phil Long
Some of the key performance features of our truck:
• Fixed low kingpin allows for easy maintenance, added grind clearance and reduced chance of hang-ups
• Precise 19.5° kingpin geometry allows the truck to be smooth and responsive whilst remaining stable at speed
• High quality aluminium provides strength and smooth grinds
• Weight saving cavities in the hanger and baseplate maximises strength whilst minimising weight increase
• 92a SHR PU Cast bushings
• Subtle branding on both the hanger and baseplate

Alfie Mills at NASS 2016

Enuff rider, Alfie, hit this year's NASS, so we checked in with him to get a rundown of his time there...

How was your trip down to Nass and did the weather hold out for you over the weekend?
The trip was good we left nice and early and got there at 8am Thursday morning. The weather was pretty fine all weekend apart from Sunday afternoon when we had a bit of rain.

What were your expectations going into the weekend, what did you hope to achieve?
I just wanted to go and have fun and was looking forward to riding the pro park and the vert ramp as I don't get to ride one very often.

How was the standard of skating and who were you most stoked on seeing over the weekend?
Some amazing skating going off both in the amateur and the pro. It was great to see Clay Kreiner and I got to hang out with him a bit which was pretty cool!

How did the competition go from your point of view? Do you think you skated well and if you placed what position were you?
It went well, a little daunting at first but I really enjoyed it. I placed 27th out of 70 which I was pleased with as there were no age limits.

What was the highlight of your weekend and will you be returning to Nass next year if you get the opportunity?
My highlight was seeing Clay Kreiner backflip, stalefish the step up jump box. And yes I'd love to go back next year I had a blast!!
